Holiday Absences

Each full time child is granted up to 5 vacation days per year, 4 days a week up to 4 vacation days per year, 3 days a week up to 3 vacation days per year, and 2 days a week up to 2 vacation days per year. Parents wishing to use any of their credit days must notify us in writing prior to the month in which they wish to take the credit. The following guidelines also apply to taking vacation/credit day.

1. Available vacation is 5 days per year for full time accruing at the rate of 1 day per month beginning after 90 days of enrollment.

2. Available vacation is 4 days per year for 4 days a week accruing at the rate of 1 day per month after 90 days of enrollment.

3. Available vacation is 3 days per year for 3 days a week accruing at the rate of 1 day per month after 90 days of enrollment.

4. Available vacation is 2 days per year for 2 days a week accruing at the rate of 1 day per month after 90 days of enrollment.

5. Temporary enrollment is not eligible for vacation days (i.e. spring break, winter break & summer camp).

6. Vacation may not be applied to the current or previous month’s tuition.

7. Vacation days may not be accumulated, they must be used by the end of each calendar year.

8. If your child leaves BMCDC for 2 weeks or more, any vacation credit received for that year will be forfeited
